Brownies!!!

Tayla loves to help me cook & bake. We have so much fun! Last night she helped me make roasted garlic potato's, she was actually very helpful, until today when she carried the bag of potato's around crying for me to open them so I did and gave her one and she played with it all day. She pretends to cook she likes to mix ingredients. After I poured the brownie batter into the pan I gave her the bowl and spoon so she could lick it, she was pretending to add that yellow can of playdoh to the bowl, shaking it upside down then stirring the bowl.

Wiggles concert!

We took turns going on rides with tay, not only did Seth fit in here it actually went up in the air too!

We had a great trip, it went much better than I thought. We left at tayla's nap time on Friday so she slept all the way down. We stopped off at a zoo and checked out the animals then we went to the hotel and our room was ready so they let us check in early so we went swimming. Tayla loves the water. We had a hard time getting her to fall asleep in the hotel room but once she was out she slept threw the night. We got up very early and went swimming for an hour and a half then got ready and went to 6 flags we got there early and held our place at the outdoor area where the concert was, so we were pretty close only 10-15 feet away from the stage. The concert was great. But we waited so long and it was so hot tayla kept losing interest until the played one of her fav songs and sucked her back in. Then she was dancing. We went to the water park and went in the wave pool. Then went on a bunch of rides. Tayla loved everything and I can't believe how much fun we had doing "baby" things. We were at the park for over 7 hours and all exhausted when we left. Tayla passed out before we got out of the parking lot and slept all the way home.

Zoo...June 13, 2008

We started our mini vacation on friday at a zoo in Springfield. They had great animals but the zoo was pretty small. Tayla loved the animals until they got too close (as you can tell from the last pic).

Tomorrow we are leaving for 6 flags, it will be our first overnight trip with Tayla and needless to say I am very nervous as to how she will take it. We are staying at the Holiday Inn and going to 6 flags on Saturday to see the wiggles, Tayla's favorite show ever. She is totally in love with Dorothy a big green dinosaur that where's a bonnet and loves roses. The Wiggles are performing live but she is so young we are not sure if she's even going to like it, but they have a whole theme area with rides and the rest of the character's walking around so we should have a great time. We took tay and Lexi to brunch at the Hilltop this past Sunday because Dorothy and Captain feathersword were there. She absolutely loved Dorothy she got right down and ran over to her she jump right in front of a little girl who was talking to her. I couldn't really get a good picture because Tayla would not stop staring at her and trying to touch her she just waving and saying "hi Dorothy". We tried to finish eating after Dorothy went to see the other kids but that was it for tay she stood in the booth and stalked Dorothy yelling hi Dorothy, over and over. Dorothy even came back over to see her. Alexis was not so impressed with Dorothy, captain feather sword is a different story. After Dorothy, brunch was pretty much done for us but cs didn't show up yet so we left. Well we found him, he was in the parking lot parked near us getting dressed, yes in the parking lot. So we saw him put his pirate stuff on and then we got in the car where Lexi informed us that she thinks he is a hottie...before the pirate stuff...

...is this what I have to look forward to cause I don't think I will ever be ready to hear this stuff from tay.

1st Watermelon of the season...and it was a big hit! Tayla was slurping and gulping and making the funniest faces, I just had to share! I think this must be her favorite out of everything she has ever eaten or drank.
The funny thing is...watermelon was all I could eat the first 16 weeks of my pregnancy!
